Carpet tiles and carpet squares (even called modular carpeting) is extremely popular right now. On one side you’ve got those that like the warmth and cosiness of carpet and hate the cold, hard and slippery alternatives. Leave the tiles in the room they are to be laid for at least 24 hours to acclimatise to the environment. Tiles look best when centred in the middle of the room with narrow cut tiles at the edge. Interlocking carpet tiles fit snugly together, making it next to impossible to uproot, slip, slide, or wrinkle them. Be sure to follow the arrows so your carpet pile will be going in the same direction.
